High accuracy and utilization
The I-Slice 3400 slices, and batches salmon and smoked salmon to fit every pack’s size and weight. The salmon fillets are first weighed and scanned to calculate optimal utilization. Each slice is then cut to match the defined target weight, and the slices are aligned in accurate batches in accordance with the pack size.
The standard edition cuts salmon slices with an angle interval of 8°-40°. To create high angle products such as portions, we offer the upgraded edition with an angle interval of 8°-72°. The slicer can place the batches on boards and trays in all standard retail sizes or go straight from the belt to the packing unit.
The slices in each batch are perfectly aligned for exceptional pack presentation and spaced to match the board size automatically. Combining these features and the high accuracy on weight and count eliminates the need for manual handling.
